If anything I think braids will stress your hair out if they're in for too long just let your hair be in it natural state and brush it everyday to stimulate blood flow

Yes tight braids will help your hair to grow and thats what Afician Amercians do I'm half africian american so thats how ido my cousins hair to help it grow. imake sure is clean and do tight box braids and leave in in for about a month or til it looks like it needs to be done again then redo it. it grows a lot that way.
