Braids make you hair grow??

I want my hair to grow, and its long enough to put in braids. What types of braids do you do that works the best? And this is when I go to bed, btw.

If anything I think braids will stress your hair out if they're in for too long just let your hair be in it natural state and brush it everyday to stimulate blood flow

I hear mainly black ppl who do this. Putting in single braids or French braids like the picture down below. Not constantly styling the hair (brushing and heat styling) or anything makes it grow a lot faster.

Yes tight braids will help your hair to grow and thats what Afician Amercians do I'm half africian american so thats how ido my cousins hair to help it grow. imake sure is clean and do tight box braids and leave in in for about a month or til it looks like it needs to be done again then redo it. it grows a lot that way.
