What is the best foundation to wear that is not too heavy... I am not a big fan because of sensitive skin.. But am willing to try because I need coverage of redness and blemishes.. Any suggestions? How do you know what color fits your complexion?

Good ones for sensitive skin (without knowing exactly what type of skin you have , and finish you want) are most Clinique foundations like superbalanced or Acne Solutions, if your oily you can try bare minerals I personally didnt care for it but a lot of ppl use it, also I would look into some BB creams, there are some heavier coverage ones and they are especially made for sensitive and reactive skin, I would recommend Dr. Jart black label bb cream, it's med coverage and has lots of nourishing ingredients, made for sensitive and acne prone skin. can get it at Sephora. most bb's only come in one shade and will usually blend into most skin shades except very light. check out this article that lists a bunch of foundations that would be the type your looking for http://www.buzzle.com/articles/best-foundation-makeup.html
As far as colors: the best and really only way to be sure that it will match your undertones and overall skin tone is to go ulta or sephora and have them swatch a few on your jawline to match you to a shade. if you just pick one by looking at them your just gambling and most likely won't get a good match. Hope that helps a little :-)

Not bare minerals its too cakey. I've tried it and it feels too heavy and your face looks dry..
