I recommend mineral powder. The body shop carries something called extra virgin minerals that's wonderful for that type of thing :)

NYX has some great matte products, first their stay matte not flat foundation and powder, their mattifying makeup setting spray, & shine killer primer - all of these are great for a nice matte look. Also you can if you have fairly oily skin and your makeup wears through too quickly, you should try out this trick! Use milk of magnesia (weird, I know but it works! make sure it's plain- no flavors, unless you want your skin to smell like cherries or mint lol! Also this will make your face look chalky almost before you apply your foundation, and that's completely normal- you can look up reviews about this on YouTube to see what other people think, but this is a trick makeup artists use on oily skin because it will really hold your makeup on alllll night & make any foundation matte) under any foundation as your primer that will absorb any oil and make your foundation completely matte.& Using a mattifying primer & makeup setting spray will really help to keep your makeup more matte and hold it in place, some good primers I like are the nyx pore filler & shine killer (two different primers but both amazing!), Urban Decay De-Slick makeup setting spray, model in a bottle setting spray, &make up forever all mat primer.
Great Matte Foundations: Maybeline's dream matte mousse is a great matte foundation, very silky smooth and flawless finish too. Revlon Colorstay for oily skin, Make up forever HD foundation, Laura Mercier Silk creme, & Estee Lauder Double wear foundation. Also I would
realllllly recommend you looking into MAC products, go into the store and try out some of these products because Mac products are just so amazing- I'm in love with everything Mac but that's just me! Here are some that would be perfect for you! Mac's studio fix powder foundation & the studio fix fluid- this is their matching liquid foundation & these are definitely amazing mac products- I personally love the studio fix powder & use it everyday! Mac prep + prime skin & prep + prime skin smoother, & matte creme are all great mattifying primers. If you want to take it to the next level though and make your own custom foundation you can mix any of their pigments & the mixing medium in matte- which is very cool because you can make anything and everything with this mixing medium, from eyeshadow & creme liners, to foundations, blushes/bronzers- everything- and you can also use their fix + as a mixing medium as well but it's more of a satin finish rather than a matte one- but I love mac's fix + because it's so versatile you can use it to prime & moisturize your skin, use it as a mixing medium to make liners or really whatever you want!, or set your makeup, also this will help take away that really powdery look if you ever get that from your makeup. hope this helps! xoxo
