Just be patient. Don't expect it to be perfect since you're just starting. Practice A LOT, but most of all have fun and try different styles and techniques until you find out what works best for you. :)

Don't spend a lot of money right away. Stick to drugstore as your techniques improve then spoil yourself with high end products. Watch a lot of youtube tutorials. That's what helped me the most. Also brushes! They're the key to good makeup. Start with ELF, Target brand, and Sonya Kashuk.

Don't make the mistake of over tweezing eyebrows and carefully/gently remove mascara you don't want thinner lashes than before.

If you don't want too spend too much money but get good quality ill say get a full coverage foundation so you don't need concealer and you don't really need primer... And get something for your skin type I have oily skin and the tarte Amazonian clay 12 hour full coverage foundation is great!! Also try not to look to Cakey... The point of makeup is to make you look naturally pretty or that what I think... It's prettier that way:) also I recommend applying that foundation with a foundation brush.. If you don't have a lot of redness or pimples you can just get a concealer to conceal specific spots💎... Also just start off with a mascara for the eyes and black eyeliner if you need it...

Also YouTube videos really do help, if you want to know what to buy or how to apply it..
