Try patting your concealer just over the dark shadow, not anywhere outside of it. Then apply powder and re apply small amounts if concealer (again just on the dark spot) gently blend, and powder again.

A dusting of a slightly shimmery powder that is close to your skin tone will help too, as well as a brightening concealer and a color corrector underneath everything.

Wash your face with cold water in the morning it will help with puffiness (it works for me every morning) by the time I leave the house my eyes look good! If you are having problems with your concealer use a primer before applying concealer :) hope that helps! Sorry for the lack of punctuation.

Using a salmon colored Concealer. I know it sounds weird but salmon color cancels out the blues... purples and all that. E.L.F cosmetics has salmon colored concealers. good luck :)
