There are lots of great video's on youtube about brushes, try lisa eldridge, think pixiewoo, makeupgeek n vivianna does makeup have done them 2.
I'm loving some real techniques brushes at the moment, the buffing brush, multi-use brush n contour brush.

I agree on the real techniques...I would get both the core collection and starter set...that will give you all the brushes you really need for an affordable price. Ulta has sales a lot for buy one get one half off on those brushes.

Mac 227 mac 217 a kabuki brush elf has one for six dollars and a flat foundation brush that looks like flattop elf has a good one for three dollars and that's perfect for foundation and buffing
