Even though there are genetic traits, we can still do a lot more damage to our skin. Over exfoliating is probably the worst against our pores. When we over exfoliate we stretch our pores to an even larger size than they already are. And that is nearly impossible to correct. Be very careful about how many times a week you exfoliate ( 2 tops for large pores and sensitive skin), be even more careful with home micro derm abrasion, and never do both consecutively. If you use a brush like the clairsonic, get the gentle brush and only use it once a day. Closing the pores down as much as possible is always good followed by a toner and moisturizer. We do more damage thinking we need to cleanse deeply all the time. Take care of your skin. Treat it nicely and gently.

Exfoliating is good but not too much or else...
Use some makeup to cover it up If you need to. I'm fighting your battle, girl!

Keeping your pores clean will diminish the look of enlarged pores. I rely on glycolic serums, African Black soap and toners to keep mine clear.
