So I have had the same style for almost my whole life and I talked to my parents and they said I can do what ever I want as long as it is not to crazy but I don't know what to do any ideas guys please :)

To be honest I don't even know my mom was very controlling but my dad finally let my mom give me freedom and I'm looking for one that's fun and colorful but relaxed and calm at the same time I'm 5'4 , dark brown hair and eyes , tan skin so you know :)

Get ride of most things in you closet, start fresh, and look for clothing stores that you feel fit what your going for, also watch some YouTube, read some magazines, and take some quizs to find out the style you want =)

I would say go with what you are interested in..and do it in small amounts since you are dealing with stern parents.

My parents aren't stern my mom lived her life in mine but after therapy she's fine and my dad just dosen't want me to look like a slut you know to have self respect.

Self respect comes within...you could be the most modest person in the world and still be considered a slut. people are going to judge you regardless, men wil still try to take advantage of you, degrade you, etc. so it doesn't really matter how you dress it's about self confidence, thick skin, and a big middle finger to societies standards of what you should dress like because you're a woman. That's just how I see it though. but good luck with finding your new style XD.
