As states in the above two comments, macs Russian red is literally THE BEST red lipstck!! I too am fair with red hair, and this is my everyday lipstick! Also, lime crime has an amazing one called red velvet, part of the velveteens collection! That is amazing as well!! :)

Yes, do get a lip liner. I use wet n wild's megalast lip color in red velvet. since your skin is fair, it would look great on you. I have a pic of myself wearing it on my profile. you can go ahead and check it if you wish. hope this helps. good luck!!
