I wash my hair 3 times a week. Have you tried a good quality dry shampoo in between washes to help absorb oil? I use Oscar Blandi dry shampoo and I love it!

I do usually twice a week but I have the same problem with an oily scalp my hair gets oily but if I wash once a week with Paul Mitchell awapuhi it really deep cleans without stripping your hair/scalp of natural moisture - also when I use conditioner I only apply it to my ends and same with any kind of smoothing serum only to the ends try to keep moisturizing products away from your scalp because the oil it produces is enough to nourish hair at the roots also try dry shampoo between washes I use tressemme and it works nice - hope that helps!

Omg your hairs so long!! does that not take ages to style and to dry and stuff? is it naturally that straight? if you wanted to cut it a lot shorter you could donate your hair, I've seen a few girls who have done that recently
I wash mine every 2-3 days depending on if I've got a lot of product in n if I'm going anywhere lol

Rose you can buy Oscar Blandi dry shampoo at Sephora but there are so many other dry shampoos or there that are less expensive. Try Walmart and Target! :)

I wash my hair three times a week after leaving an enriched coconut oil treatment on it overnight, and I refresh my roots in between with dry shampoo.

Thank you ladies for the suggestions!
@hazel... lol. yeah it takes forever to dry. I don't use the dryer unless its a special occasion and yes its naturally straight but I do have a little natural wave underneath and around the bang area.

Rose M.
@hazel...I don't really style it because its way too long and because it gives me a headache when I wear it up so I'm always wearing it down and curl it once in a while. I don't put too much heat on it, don't wanna damage my hair. Took me too long to get it where its at right now.
