Well I don't plan on putting any heat in it for two months afterwards.

I use heat on mine since I have to blend my hair to extensions and I totally wish I didn't have to... that will help you a lot!
-Coconut oil treatments
-Hask's Henna n' Placenta Deep Conditioning Packets
-wash with cooler water, avoiding heat in the shower also will help
-use a 20 volume developer instead of going straight to 40 vo. when you bleach it... that helped my hair SOOOOO much

Use moisturizing shampoos following up with a conditioner. Conditioning treatments at least once a week. Rinse with cool water after conditioning to seal cuticle of hair. Get your trims. The less heat the better. If your lightened hair starts to yellow you can tone brassiness by using violet based shampoo once or twice a week and if you hair is really dry use morrocon oil or argon oil. Hope this helps!

Use essential oil conditioning treatments like pro naturals moroccan argan oil hair mask once a week to moisturize and get regular trims to prevent split or damaged ends.
