I have booked a consultation in regards to laser hair removal as I'm sick of waxing, anyone have or know anyone with experience of it and how was it?

My mum's had her bikini line done - it does reduce hair growth, but she still has to wax her bikini line! It doesn't get rid of all the hair, it just limits hair growth.

I've for laser and it also didn't stop my hair growth. However it differs from person to person

I'm doing laser on my face. They use a machine called Alexandria, which has the highest temperature. Its quite good. Leaves the face clean but so painful.

I have, I had my upper lip and pits done.
It was a little painful, and if you're doing facial hair then you should bring a green based concealer to cover redness. My experience was awesome, the lady was really patient.

It stopped the growth on my upper lip, but my armpits didn't. The hairs are really fine, however.

I've been doing it on my face for quite a few months now and the hairs are getting weaker but I 'll have to continue doing for a longer period if I want permanent results. the pain is not so bad either. I suggest you go to a doctor so you don't't end up with your skin burnt.

I did IPL, bikini, hurts the first couple of times, but it gets better. I also did laser, but that hurts more. To get rid of that hair, lip and bikini was the best thing I've ever did in my life. No more pain after shaving before I go to the beach. I feel a lot more secure. Btw..the laser didn't work as good as the light flash therapy. It's a lot of work because you really have to watch out for the sun, you cannot get a sunburn or else you'll get burnscars. Brown or white. So start after the summer. It will take a long time before you're done with it.

I don't get much sun in the uk anyway, so no chance of burning haha! I'm just so eager to start it I hope it works 😔

Sun or no sun, be carefull with UV radiation. I was very careful, but still got a brown spot on my upperlip. I'm very happy it eventually went away, but it was even worse than hair!
