Today I tried to style my hair with a sock bun and I didn't know what to do with the hair that I was left with I tried to braid it but I have so much long hair that the braid with the bun looked awful : ( Any ideas ladies on how I can style my hair with a sock bun?

Maybe try to leave less hair so the braid would be thine? there are lots of different bun styles. try different ones and experiment until you find what works for you :)

We used so k buns in the military everyday. We wrapped the excess hair around the bun and then used a bobby pin to fasten it.

When I do a sock bun I use the rolling method so all that excess hair is up inside the bun! I think it's much easier faster and you don't need nearly as many bobby pins... Plus you don't have to figure out what to do with the ends! You can look up how to do it this way on YouTube... Also then you can do a thinner braid and leave it out to wrap around :)

You only need one bobby pin.

And the rolling method is what I was implying.
