Hi dolls, ok this is very important for the girls that are frustrated with their foundation not staying on longer than they should. If your liquid foundation is water-based then your PRIMER has to be water-based. Before you buy a liquid foundation, make sure that at least 3 of the ingredients are also in the primer as well. If your liquid foundation is oil-based then your primer has to contain oil. You cannot buy a water-based primer & use it with an oil-based foundation. Key factor, WATER & OIL DO NOT MIX. That's why some girls are having trouble with making sure that their makeup doesn't slide of their face. The primer & foundation I recently bought both contain water in them so my makeup will laster way longer. My moisturizer is also oil free so I don't have to worry about having a shiny face.

This might be a dumb question... But how do you know for sure if you have a water or oil based foundation?

It's not a dumb question! lol :) It's listed in the ingredients section. The box that my foundation came in, on one of the sides it says oil-free. & when I read all the ingredients the first ingredient was water. & my primer's first ingredient was water too. lol :)
