Hi, I have the same problem where counters give me slightly too dark as I have yellowy undertones and its hard to match to. The one I found quite good at the moment was the powder from the new maybelline fit me range - try one from the medium range, whichever of the three looks closest. It's a good one to try out without spending too much , hope that helps :)

I use MAC studio fix powder. I also have yellow undertones. And I love it.
