So I got the foam and lotion (jergens) and I was wondering what is the best way to get the lotion even so there aren't parts that are darker than others on my legs and the foam I live so much it's amazing I can put that on perfectly fine.

I use instant bronzers with continous spray. Stinks bad when sprayed but after it dries I can apply my perfume with no funny smell.

The only thing you can do is start by using a small amout of regular oil free moisturizer/lotion to any areas that are dryer than the majority of your body, like knees, elbows, wrists, ankles and feet. This will help the tanner to not turn so dark and blotchy. let it dry a few min though before you apply the self tanner. then do small parts at a time and really rub it in good, do up and down strokes and follow thst by rubbing in circular motions to assure that there won't be any areas not covered or end up streaky. hope that helps!
