I know this may seem like a dumb question but when it comes to under eye concealing is it best to put foundation then concealer or vice versa? What does everyone else do?

If your using the concealer as a highlight as well and you want it to be dramatic then do foundation first but if you want it to be more sutle and blend easily then do concealer first -BeautysVictim.

I don't see the reason behind why someone would apply concealer first.. The best way to apply concealer is using a light patting motion with a finger or two and not just rubbing it around. That is because it allows for better, localized coverage. That being said, applying foundation after applying concealer the right way seems to be counterintuitive as it would sort of rub away some of the coverage you created. Can anyone who applies concealer first explain why they do so?.. Out of curiosity? Thanks :)

Yea definitely concealer after, like Jenna said putting on foundation after will undo the concealing that was just done.

I find it depends on the concealer I got taught at beauty school to do it both ways some cover better if you put it on first then foundation and some cover better after foundation also if you don't have anything specific to cover like a pimple its probably best to put foundation first so then you can conceal only the things that foundation hasnt covered (:

I definitely agree with Angel.. I hardly ever conceal but if I do I put it on first so it isn't so extreme looking.. however most days I do highlight and I like to do it after foundation.

Haha thanks everyone, a lot of conflicting views, but I guess for highlighting its good to put it second after foundation.
