I swear I have the worst hair in the world, it is thick, dry, gets oily fast, has split ends, falls off (a little hairball every shower), and layered in a way that I can't do any styling.
and on top of that, I wanna make it longer. the split ends and falling of my hair is because I dyed it black, then bleached it twice and dyed red. it stayed in a weird rusty color for a few monthes until I dyed it brown similar to my natural color, and I will never bleach again. my country doesn't have many products that are sold in the US or UK. I tried every single shampoo/conditioner that came out here, mainly the ones that are supposed to treat damaged hair, and nothing helped. I want to buy hair products on ebay but the shipping costs more than the products themselves...
I literally have dead hair, with too many problems. solutions to even one of them will be more than welcome.

Put a coconut oil mask on your hair twice a week.
Stop using heat as often. resort to top knots if you have to :)

Get a good trim, mine was the same although it was thinning a lot, I got a trim a couple months back an it sorted my hair right out, just tell the hairdresser you want as much as it needs off, I know you want your hair long (so do I) but honestly keeping up with recent trims makes your hair a lot healthier and prevents the snapping, also use natural oils instead of hair products which can stimulate hair growth and add shine :)

@olivia I used to straighten my hair every two or three days but I completely stopped.
@lucy I actually thought of doing the same thing but as shorter my hair goes, the weirder I look, so I think ill let it get a bit longer before I trim it...or is iy better to do it as fast as possible?

Go to the hair dresser and she will be able to help you solve your hair problems and show you what you can do to help it get healthier. :)

You should probably get a trim as soon as possible. your split ends will continue splitting further up your hair and start breaking your hair off so it isn't going to get any longer really. you should trim off the split ends and then do the coconut oil and moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.
