Exfoliate before you apply the self tanner. It will remove dead skin that makes the tan look streaky and uneven.

When your tan dries put cocoa butter lotion on it. it prevents streaking and makes your tan last longer.

I love fake bake as well, the spray one is the best its called "flawless" and I have never had any streaks even if I don't exfoliate that great.
