So my skin has always been clear and beautiful for the most part but these past 4-5 months I've had stubborn pimples that will not go away I've tried everything from washing my face 2-3 times a day, acne creams, masks, alcohol on my face and even toothpaste.. Nothing's helping and my skin is becoming dry, flaky and reddened!! Someone please please help!! I have sensitive skin too btw! 😩 Heeeelllllpppp please!!

Never use alcohol products to get rid of spots, I have experience some of the dryest skin on my face and pimples...

What I find works for me is alcohol free...

Use a cleanser

Then a toner

Then moisturise..

Avoid heavy make up for now as this will not help...

Also do you use a primer before you apply foundation? This will help foundation getting into your pores

If you have any access to any NO7 products, get these... They are absolutely incredible for skin... My skin used to be so dry and I can't explain the improvement.

I never use a primer I will now what's a good brand? And what's NO7? Is that a brand where can I find it? And for the past week I've been following this skincare routine..
Washing my face with aveeno ultra calming foaming cleanser and using an aloe vera moisturizer in the morning and at night I've been using the same cleanser in the shower once I'm out I use witch hazel and an aloe Vera gel and that's it.. My mom says she has noticed a little improvement but not much the pimples are just coming to the surface more to me that's all I've noticed.. Do you think this routine is a good one? Should I continue?

Put ice on them for 4-5 minutes 1. 2. put hydrogen peroxide on them 3. sleep with vicks on them overnight. you don't need to do these things in order , but they helped for me :)

That above comment could be awful for dry skin No7 is a beauty brand, it's very very good for sensitive skin as it contains zero products that cause breakouts such as alcohol etc.. A primer is really good to protect your skins pores and keeps make up on longer and makes it sit nicer.. If your mum is noticing a slow improvement this is a good sign... Recovering skin is a very slow process.

Have you thought about getting a prescription from your doctor for acne? This could be a faster way..

@Lorelei sounds like you have a good routine going! very simple. harsh products & routines throw your skin even more out of balance. just try using 100% tea tree oil with a q-tip as a spot treatment at night after your moisturizer has been absorbed. this works great on my acne!

You can try the clean and clear acne treatment.. after 4hrs the redness of your pimple will lessen..

Try washing your face with African black soap twice a day. It had worked wonders for me. I have oily, sensitive and acne-prone skin, but now that I'm using African black soap, my skin is super clear.

I struggled with breakouts before becoming pregnant, and after getting pregnant they only got worse. I couldn't use my current skin regimen due to the harmful chemicals in it. Dermalmd is amazing!! It has worked wonders on my skin. The cleanser feels to soft and creamy and doesn't dry my skin out. I love the spot treatment too! It works fast! I HIGHLY recommend dermalmd blemish serum to anyone and I will definitely continue to use it after my baby gets here!
