Dampen your hair them braid into very loose french braids overnight. I did this today actually its a fab trick it lasts all day w/o product! :) give it a go xx

What I do is use a curl wand. But to make them beach waves and not curls, only hold the hair around the wand for about 4 seconds. It makes it more loose. Then I spray dry shampoo on the ends. The dry shampoo gives it that messy texture :)

It's a tousled wave style so part your hair down the middle the use a curling wand and instead of getting ringlets hold for about 5 seconds after your whole head is done. part at side tousle the wave and put in as much hairspray as you need. the look should stay.
