So my hair is THICK. I've never had anyone feel it and not be surprised. I love that its so thick, but its so hard to do anything with. Even with my hair thinned out and a very good flat iron it still takes (I'm not exaggerating) three hours to do anything with. Does anyone have any tips to make doing anything with my hair easier? I've been wearing a bun for like 3 years now because I don't have the time to do anything else with it :(

I've got the same problem. But this is how I do my hair. first I wash it , after that I use a conditioner, and I always make sure that I leave it in for like 2/3 min. after that I rinse it. and then I dry my hair with a towel. after that I always use a spray. it's from l'oreal Paris I don't know if you know that brand but it's a styling spray. then I brush my hair and then I dry it with a hair dryer, and at the same time I keep brushing it. I'm sorry if I have made any mistakes but I speak dutch haha.

My hair is extremely thick too and I blow dry it straight and wash it every 3 days so I usually leave it straight. I do a lot of updos to a lot of different ones.. look on youtube. if I want curls but I won't have time too do it I sleep with socks in my hair. I section it off and roll my hair around the socks. the next day I take them out fix it a lil with the curling iron if needed. my hair take a long time to do anything with so its usually just straight or in a bun.

I it takes that long in the morning why don't you do some of it at night, just a quick run through, and then make it perfect in the morning.

You really shouldn't straighten it so often. I swear I really have very very thick but also really heavy hair and it was always a disaster until I did my new routine and I am glad I never have to straighten it!! because it will seriously kill your hair!
