I can't for the life of me do a smokey eye. My skin just looks oily on my eyelids when I do it. I don't wear foundation. Sometimes I wear a little bit of powder though. I use a small amount of lip gloss as primer, a base of white, copper for the triangle thing in the corner, and a smokey black for the little dot in the corner. And a red-peach lipstick. HELP.

The lip gloss as a primer is the problem. I can't wear shadow without primer because mine will crease/get oily as well. I use Too Faced shadow insurance. It's amazing!

It's not difficult once you find where your eye crease is. Some creases are harder to work with than others.

Lip gloss as a primer? That's a first haha. Get eyeshadow primer - ELF has one for like 3 bucks. Also, make sure you're using the correct brushes for your crease and outer V. Using the wrong brushes will cause your eyeshadow to be messy. Hope I helped :)

Ditch the lip gloss. Also brand out eye shadow might effect the look. Brushes are very important, a nice fluffy brush is essential for beautiful blending.

I didn't mean to put lipgloss. I was typing the brand name and it auto corrected. Loo.
