Curved up & dragged out. Start from the bottom of your bottom line and drag up from it. Then , connect the bottom line to the top & fill in. Confusing , but hopefully you understood a little.

I've just uploaded a pic with different eyeliner styles in my album if you want to watch.
A tip when you put on eyeliner is to hold your elbow on the table and rest your hand on the cheek, your line Will come out straight then :-)

I agree with Bryony T. use a piece of tape if you have to; practice makes perfect.

It's hard take your time and like the ladies before me already said practice makes perfect. You'll figure out how to make different wings once you just try it out. And start small that way if you mess up you don't look dramatic when you make it thicker to make them symmetrical(:
