I have always thought round, and do my makeup accordingly, but sometimes it just looks wrong and I'm wondering if it's me or my makeup. Lol.

I would say either oval, or round; you could even be a bit of both. You should focus on using blush on the apples of your cheeks to add more roundness, rather than contouring :)

Its hard to tell with an side shot. pull your hair back and look straight into the camera., you look oval in your profile pic though.
