I take ballet right now, but I don't really know what type of leotard I should get. My studios dress code is if your wearing tights and a leotard then your ok. Here's a picture of what I usually wear.

Well you can get ideas from what your classmates wear! For ballet do you have to wear black? I got some cute ballet leos for my classes! Halters are really cute and just do leos with fancy straps or something!

I dance too and I usually wear a simple Leo and tights with colorful leg warmers, a cool headband, a bow, or flower on my bun, and sometimes I wear a sheer skirt.

My school only lets us wear a black leotard (at my age the younger kids have different colours) pink tights and ballet slippers, and if the teacher lets us, black spandex shorts. I would agree with a skirt or a crop top maybe? ( if you're allowed of course)

I love leotards! I used to take ballet too, and I would wear my strap black leotard that crossed in the back. Of course with tights and ballet shoes, but only rarely would I wear and be allowed shorts.
