All soya oil is soybean oil. Its not bad for your hair, its benefical for your hair, helps with growth, also has moisturizing and hydrating properties. It can be used in weekly hot oil treatments to add moisture to damaged or dry hair. I mix with other carrier oils when doing my weekly hot oil treatment on wash days.

I also make my own whipped shea butter using carrier oils.
