What kind of high lighter are you using? powder or liquid? for both I use after so the foundation doesn't cover it. (: hope that helps.

After -- but sometimes I'll use a lighter concealer in inverted V under eyes (it's way too light so it looks strange) then a thin foundation layer over. Check out Kim Kardashians highlight contour through google

I do cream of liquid highlight and coutour first blend with liquid foundation then touch up with powder.. ( I'm sure you've seen what looks like a tiger face before its blended ) There's great how to videos on this sight
