So my hair is thick and wavy and I used to be able to style it really easily when I lived in Ohio. Since I moved to Louisiana last year it is just so unruly and frizzy, I think its from the humidity. It also has been breaking off really bad lately. Could it be from the not so good water? I live on an army base in the country basically. I need any ideas of treatments, shampoos, conditioners, daily styles anything please. I used to love my hair until I moved here. :(

Don't shampoo as often, because it strips your hair of the natural oils it needs. use leave in conditioner!

You could also try putting a bit of coconut oil on your hair at bedtime or while it's damp after a shower. I also use hairspray to keep my frizzies away by spritzing it onto my fingers and smoothing it on.

You can also go to your local hardware store and get a shower head filter. It takes out all the junk in water like chlorine and lead. I swear my water used to make my skin and hair dry and nasty.
