Do you have to have a cosmelogy lisence?

Not usually. I know here in Texas you don't need to be licensed to work for Sally's or even Sephora for that matter. I believe it is different for each state, so it just depends.

At sallys they prefer if you do have your license, in school or have some experience in the field! I worked there for 2 years and it helps with product knowledge and hair color questions!

A friend of mine applied at Sally's and they said it was highly recommended you have it but at Ulta or even Sephora it's not required!
