Deep condition the day before. My hair stylist ALWAYS say dirty hair is better! Hope that helps!

Definitely agree with Maggie, they ask you to wash your hair the day before so that the hairstyle will hold. Wash your hair and deep condition the afternoon before (or night of your hair gets oily quickly) and then it'll have enough built up oil to style.
