I think black into red or even a caramel brown would look good. but I dnt think black to blonde would look good.

Try an ombre that goes to a carmel/lighter brown instead of blonde so it won't look too harsh.

I have VERY dark brown hair and I got my ombré to blonde and it looked pretty kickass. I have photos on my profile of my ombré. It took awhile to get it that way, but it was well worth it

I saw a pic the other day, it went top to bottom, black into golden brown into bleach blond and only like an inch of the tips was purple. it was adorable!
