@Hazel, I see a lot of influence from my favorite Opera singer, Klaus Nomi. I used to use him as inspiration in a a lot of my fashion collections so I was freaked out when I saw Lady Gaga wearing lots of pieces that looked like stuff I had either designed years prior or have almost literally seen exactly on Klaus Nomi. I'm not sure of her designers, but there is definitely an influence there.
