Temporary dye help!

I have naturally red hair and I was thinking about going brunette this summer, but I don't want anything permanent. I've never dyed my hair before so I just have a few questions, any help would be great thank you!
1. What brands are good?
2. Will my hair color go back to normal?
3. When it is fading, will my hair turn a gross or unnatural color?
