Dying my hair auburn?

Hi everyone :)
Recently I purchased Clairol Nice 'N Easy Permanent Hair Dye and am planning to dye my hair auburn this weekend. I've done it before with semi-permanent and it never lasted more than a week. My hair is medium brown at the moment.
Has anyone used this before? Any reviews, tips, or comments? I've heard good reviews so far from websites.
Do you think this color will suit me?

I love nice and easy for when I don't have the time or money to do a professional dye. The color is more dimensional, which I like. I personally haven't used this specific color, but my mom does often. It is reddish, just to make sure you know that ahead of time

Susie, how red is your mom's hair? Is it like Ariana Grande red or Ashley Simpson/Emma Stone? The latter is what I'm going for.
