So for the past week I started using neutrogena pink grapefruit foaming scrub and pond's for moisturizing after. I've noticed that my skin is extra dry and now starting to flake on my chin nose area and forehead. How do I fix this?!?? My skin feels so nasty now! Idk if its one product or just the combo of both. HELP!!

Its probably the neutrogina foam, I know it used to make my face really dry and I have oily skin. Try using it less or changing moiturizers (which I really don't think is that).

Yeah I have really oily skin as well. And it seems like those areas are the driest. It's weird!

Its probably has a form of acid that will actually strip the natural oils from your skin causing it to dry out. When tjat happens your skin will start to produce more oil. I had this problem woth pretty much every cleanser on the market ( even the Simple line too ). I finally had to look into natural cleansers and came across the " oil cleansing method or ocm. Best thing ever. Havent " washed " my face in almost two months and have better skin then in high school ( I'm 30 now ).

Yeah my face is pretty bad from it. I was better off without it. Think I'm going to have to go with the home remedies cause I've tried almost everything there is as well lol. Thanx for the help ladies. : )

I started using that recently and my skin doesn't seem dry at all! Hope it doesn't do that!

I recommend it to anyone that has acne or even scars. Even helps with any wrinkles ( or the beginning of them for me lol ).

Brittany it took like a little over a week for me to notice it. When I first started using it I was like oh this makes my skin feel nice! I was using it once in the morning and at night when I got off work. Maybe it was to much for my skin. I think you'll be ok I just have weird skin. : (
Tiffany I will deff give it a try now lol

I would get a creamy/non-acne fighting cleanser and for a scrub get Burt's Bees Citrus Facial Scrub. It's soo gentle and 95% natural. It's so gentle that I use it even after I've used my Clarisonic and it never makes my face feel dry or tight. You could probably use it everyday with no problems. If not just use it every other day. But I personally do not use any cleansers that are meant for fighting acne anymore. In my experience all they do is dry out my face, for nothing, because the medication isn't in contact with the skin long enough to do much. So you get dry, irritated skin that's still covered in acne. Not cool. If you have the money I'd recommend Philosophy's Purity Made Simple. It's gentle and hydrating. That and the Burt's Bees scrub are two products I couldn't live without.

Thanx Caitlin ill try the Burt's bees scrub. We sell it at my job and its fairly cheep so ill give it a shot. I need a scrub because I get so much dead skin around my nose and it builds up and I hate it.
