The only pro I had with mine was it looked cute. mine never healed because I was constantly ripping it out while sleeping or changing my clothes or forgetting it was there it just wasn't for me so I took it out. but I know not everyone had my problems lol.

Pros:
You can have different colored and shaped studs and rings after it completely heals.
You might feel more confident.
Cons:
Infection can happen if you don't take care of your piercing properly.
No matter what, if you take it out before it heals it will close up, and possibly leave a scar. It could close over night, or over the course of a year or more. It will always and eventually close if you take it out.
Some employers will request that employees do not wear piercings tho work, or show tattoos. Constantly taking out piercings will prompt infection and improper healing.
Other than that, good luck!

I had one and loved it but its cons were that it can get infected easily! I used to wear it all the time at school but would have to take it out when I saw security and it hurts so bad when you take it out!! So if you get it just make sure it is going to be there until it heals without you taking it out

I had mine pierced and I loved it but makes sure that your rings and studs are titanium!...the only con is that it can take a while to heal up.

I always forgot I had mine and would scratch my nose, and out it came. I've had mine done three times...so I'm left with scars on each side ://

I got mine on my 16 birthday. it hurt horribly bad, but that's bc it was pierced by woman who don't speak ny language, and I have fat nostrils apparently. LOL but I love mine Soooooo much! it fits me so well. and I have never gotten an infection. I don't do anything to it either. I take it out when showering, only bc I washed it down the drain once, and I clean it off when I have a cold, boogers get stuck on it bc it's like a fishhook. you would look great with one. just be careful for the first 6months bc it is easy to accidentally rip it out!

I miss mine so much. It was really cute, but I have terrible allergies so even once I got it healed it was hard to keep from getting infected. Also, if you tend toward scarring it is really easy to get keloid from them and then you end up with a bump

Definitely an L bar and good quality metal for piercing. Be obsessive about cleaning it until it heals. Then you can use a straight nose ring, or switch it out for a clear one for work. I still clean mine often, and it's fine. Wouldn't get one if you have super bad allergies or something. And do not use salt water to cleanse, as is popular-use earring/piercing cleaner.
