Hey! so I'm going to Ireland in January and staying till July! I've never been to Ireland before, I've been to England if that helps! I am going to be spending spring semester at an Irish high school, and would like to know what is considered pretty in Ireland. I don't want to appear garish or too done-up, just a look that Irish folks find attractive and feminine. :)
I have blue eyes and blonde hair and need tips for fashion, beauty, skincare, hair, anything you would like to say!! :D thanks!

Most schools don't allow any makeup so keep it simple ,outside of school is say just wear what ever you wear normally as I don't think there is much difference between the amount of makeup gorls wear here than in America and be preapered for the rain!!

I'm Irish, an honestly most of the girls around here cake themselves haha but that's mainly the sluts lol. Just keep it natural, don't go all out on wearing green or looking like a leprechaun because we hate that stereotype! Just wear what you're comfortable with, what part of Ireland are you coming to? Also high school is called secondary school here:)

And a semester is called a term:) if you're going in spring the weather should be alright actually, but honestly there's no predicting it like this weekend it's been so sunny but on Friday it was lashing rain! If it's down the country ill prewarn you, some accents can be hard to understand, same goes for inner city dublin accents and I live in dublin! And there aren't many nice beaches but there some which are really lovely:)

I went to Ireland last year I January and it was so gorgeous its my favorite place to go to now and I really want to go back I loved it so much! When we went we noticed that a lot of the girls had pretty cakey make up but since I'm not from there I'm not sure sorry. I wouldnt say anything too dramatic though it was pretty natural. PLEASE BRING ME WITH YOU!!

I'm from Ireland too, don't worry about your make up :P some girls are loaded with makeup on in school and others are natural looking with a small amount on or none :) have fun, hope you like it here :)

I agree with Hannah, some of the accents are brutal, and you mag not understand some of the slang we use, I'm from Donegal in a small town, We have a good few beaches around :)

And the waterslide place in bundoran is deadly haha, aw it's just gorgeous I dunno how to describe it aha compared to dublin accents its probably my favourite accent lol:)
