Blush, eyeliner, mascara, foundation/bb cream& neutral eyeshadows. As a beginner my go to brand was elf, nyx& revelon. But if your willing to get something a bit pricier try the naked palletes(:

Basic beginner stuff would be foundation/bb cream, mascara, lip balms, and some eye shadow. ^Adding to Sandra's list: Hard Candy, No7, Rimmel, and Maybelline. Have fun and experiment with what makeup works for you! :)

If you've never worn makeup before, concealer, mascara and blush is really all you need if you want to just try stuff out. My favorite mascara is the mineral volume one by elf, blush is the powder one by nyx, and concealer is the waterproof one by nyx. If you want to further your collection you should look into a palette. Naturals are the way to go for easing your way into eyeshadow, so palettes like the naked ones and the nude tude (my favorite) are good for variety. If you just want to experiment, get something cheaper like the 88 palette by coastal scents or bh cosmetics (I'm pretty sure they're by the same company, just different labels are slapped onto them.) The colors themselves may not be the most pigmented, but they can help you develop a feel for what looks good on your eyes. You should use a primer when using lower quality eyeshadow. (Good ones to look into are Elf's mineral primer and urban decay's primer potion) although they will help better shadows last longer on your face.

Eyes: mascara (maybelline- falsies, the rocket; physicians formula- organic wear fakeout), eyeshadow (Wet n WIld- trios; Loreal- infallible, singles; Hard Candy- duo baked), eyeliner (felt tip- I heard Mabelline Master Precise was good; gel- Loreal Infallible Gel Lacquer Liner 24 Hour; pencil- smashbox, urban decay), Tinted Moisturizer (Tarte Amazonian Clay), Blush (Wet n Wild; Tarte- Amazonian Clay Blushes in Exposed, Blushing Bride, and Flush ; Nars- Orgasm, Deepthroat, Outlaw, Dolce Vita)
I tried to give you as much diversity so you can kind of decide what would suit our needs. I hope this helped! :)
