I'm a natural blonde but I never liked it when I was a kid. When I was in seventh grade I started dying it different colors. I've gone through pretty much everything, brown, red, black, purple, blue, almost everything. Now, after years of repeating colors, I'm tired of them. I thought that since it's summer, I could go back to blonde since the sun lightens my hair and I have to keep redying it to keep something other than blonde. The problem is that I don't know how I would look with blonde hair or if I would like it. It's my natural color and I know it looks natural but there's no guarantee I'll like it. I would have to bleach my hair which I've done before and it actually didn't damage my hair more than hair dye (at least from what I could tell) but that would cost a lot of money that I don't have. since I haven't been blonde since seventh grade, I would probably look completely different since I've grown up since then and wear make up now. What do you think? Should I take the gamble and go back to blonde or just keep redying my hair some other color?

You should just cut it until you can grow out your natural color. :-) I did it a few years ago, and I love my virgin hair! The natural highlights are so pretty and it grows SO fast without die and it is so shiny and healthy. Best decision I have ever made.

Just let it fade and gradually over time either highlight it more and more up blend the colour into your natural and lighten the pre existing shade or dye your base a slightly lighter shade each time.

Blonde is so damaging.

I agree with Ivonne B. I'd stick with your current color, let it fade, then go for caremel highlights. Carly K has a great option too.

Maybe dye it light brown.
