I'm soooo bad at painting nails. They always look uneven & outside my nail lines.. I try really hard but they just look like crap. :(

Q-tips are great for cleaning up nail polish that gets on the skin.

Use tape made specifically for nails at your local drugstore to make sharper edges.

Check out YouTube for tutorials - that's how I learnt! Also, when you paint them, wipe one side of the brush and use the other side to paint the nails, trying to stick to the same direction. Start above the cuticle, push the brush down slightly so there is only a small gap between it and the cuticle and then pull it up. Seriously, check out some of the tutorials on YouTube though, they show and explain a lot better then I can!
