It absolutely happens to me all the time!! (Even with base and top coat and " sealing the free egde"). So soap and hot water are officially a manicures worst nightmare. The only thing I have found that helps, is to wear medical gloves while you shower or do dishes...and when I write it, man do I sound crazy. But if you spend forever doing your nails, and have a big weekend coming up...it's worth it. Funny thing is, my toes stay perfect forever, even with taking tubs and wearing shoes. Huh!? :-)

The peeling of nail polish often comes from touching your hair. A strand gets caught in microscopic crevices and chips the paint off. Try touching your hair less :)

Umm wipe nails with rubbing alcohol cotton ball before you paint them to make sure the polish adheres to your nails, it won't stick as well if you have any oils n...stuff...on your nails:P Works for me, my nail polish used to peel off in one piece. If you do this, rub your cuticles really well with lotion after your polish dries!! And I rub the cotton ball as if I'm taking off nail polish, so I get it alllll clean:)
