I use Mac Fix plus after I apply a little powder. It instantly gets rid of that cakey powdery look to the skin. :)

So the cakey face look comes from too much powder.?

Wear less make up. That is really what helps people in not looking cakey and in not looking like street walker.

Priming face and then mixing primer to the foundation. I noticed I didn't really need a powder to set, just setting spray. But it all depends on the foundation you use, so experiment! :)

Less makeup... iono how else to put it less is more its true! makeup looks cakey because there is too much and/or it hasn't been blended out properly.

I would say well blended foundation and less powder remember you don't need powder all over your face..I use a light powder under my eyes then add my blush on top of that I add my couture and blend it all in with a litter powder foundation just to make sure I set every thing so that's 4 different powders in total..that just how I do it..there manny other ways out there ;) hope that helped.

It all starts with the condition of your skin. Exfoliating will get rid of dead skin and make your face a smoother canvas to work on. invest in a hydrating moisturizer and primer. Don't over-do your foundation or powder

To much powder and lack of skin prep may make it look cakey, however some goundations set cakey, usually ones that are matte and if to much is used.

Moisturizer before and I prefer tinted moisturizers...but when I use foundation I apply it with a damp sponge that I squeezed out prior to applying. Always comes out natural looking 😊
