I just recently bought a self tanner and I'm now having trouble applying it. :\ It's a lotion-type selftanner(The banana boat lotion one!) and I also bought a mitt however it's the Ulta brand. I couldn't actually find a difference but maybe...? Any suggestions?! (:

Put a small amount on your hand with the glove on. The amount of tanner should be the same amount you would use as if you were putting regular lotion on. Rub in the tanner really good until you feel it's all absorbed. Let it dry. Never apply with bare hands! If you want to tan your face, you can get ones specifically for the face.
