With your allergies and eczema drugstore items aren't going to be of much good for your issue. I highly suggest seeing your dermo because you don't want to further aggravate it experimenting with a bunch of stuff. Could make the situation worse.

I know you said you tried Vaseline but after you get some of the dead skin off with a sugar scrub put a thick layer on before you go to sleep.. Watch what you eat as will.. Popsicles, lollipops, etc.

Have you tried coconut oil? My son is very dry skin and it's the only thing that seems to work.

Lush's Ultrabalm. it's a miracle product. all natural so you feel better about the fact that you WILL ingest some of it & it doesn't contain any petroleum jelly (Vaseline) which is made from crude oil.

Never use Vaseline. It's not a moisturiser it's just a waterproof barrier and petroleum jelly (which Vaseline is made of) is drying. Try a cream lipbalm instead of a greasy one, that way it will sink in and treat your lips not just sit on the top. Blistex does one :)

In the mother/baby/newborn section of target Walmart or any pharmacy in a purple tube is lanolin cream used on breast feeding moms for cracked nipples... I used this on my lips while taking acutane and it has since changed my lips forever!!

Omg! I just picked up the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream lip treatment in the pot and it is AMAZING! I am actually featuring it in my weekly favorites this week the will be up at YouTube.com/graceandglamor on Saturday. It is great, and I am really picky with lip treatments because they always do the opposite for me and make my lips worse, but this stuff is amazing! I got it on clearance at Marshall's for 5 dollars, it is originally 20 dollars, but I would 100% pay full price! Xoxo good luck! -Danielle
