I shaved my legs a couple hours ago and now they are red and bumpy pretty much all over!! It really hurts:( it's never happened before, but today I dry shaved them, I don't normally dry shave but I have done before but this didn't happen?? Is that what's wrong?? :)xoxo.

I guess when you shaved, it caused irritation on your skin because it scraped against your skin unlike when it's wet (it would glide). Maybe apply lotion or if you have any ointment then that could work too :)

Try a lotion with no fragrance.

I agree with Angelica! I wouldn't recommend ever shaving them dry its very damaging to the skin and will cause a lot of irritation! Try applying some shaving lotion or some kind of cream that had antiseptic in to try and calm the rash down.

Never dry shave!! It's an accident waiting to happen.

It's just razor burn... It will go away in a few house. As these ladies said, put on a no fragrance lotion.

Yeah, it's razor burn. NEVER dry shave. Your razor is probably old and that's why you got bumps this time. I did that one time and this is going to sound weird but try putting a light layer of deodorant over them. Most deodorants are soothing for razor burns on your underarms, so that could help. :)

Dry shaving is never a good idea. Try buying a shaving cream with aloe vera in it. It helps soothe the skin from the irritation of shaving. And always moisturize after you shave!
