Well it all starts off with clean and clear skin. Make sure you're washing your face well and putting good cream on it. :) then, look into primers, they'll smooth the surface and it'll last longer. Blend foundation well! And get a good quality, finely milled setting powder. xo :)

Invest in a setting spray, it does wonders Mac, Urban Decay, and Skindinavia all have those works really good.

Make sure that all the products have the the same base weather it be oil, water or silicon. Make sure to use a primer and allow it to set onto your face, then after applying foundation (Less is MORE) and making sure you have blended like never before make sure to blot away any oil or anything with blotting paper or toilet paper, this will help your foundation stay on all day! When you set your foundation with a powder use a big fluffy brush after to remove any excess powder this should stop it looking "powdery" and help make your face look smooth ;). also try out different foundation brushes, if everything fails try buying a new foundation, go on treat yourself! :P x

Oh and make sure that your skin is well exfoliated, as you need a smooth 'canvas'. :) x
