Paint Nails Before Or After A Shower?

I'm wondering if its better to paint my nails before I take a shower or after? I usually do it before so I can scrub the polish that ends up on my fingers & around my nails but what's better?

I think its better afterwards so you can have a clean canvas.

Depends on how much time you wait before you get in the shower..you might accidentally dent your polish when you're washing your hair.

After. If your nails are wet enough to scrub the skin around the nail and remove polish, then it's too wet to shower with and very prone to getting messed up. Do it after, and just dip a q-tip in nail polish remover and clean up the area around the nail :)
