I really want to look Italian! I think they are really beautiful and I just wish I was one! Any makeup tips??

This sounds...creepy, to be nice about it. But really, tanning and being healthy are two big aspects of it, or at least to my Italian boyfriend. There's not much I can say on makeup though. Perhaps using bronzer on your cheeks to get a more sun kissed look but that's about it.

I'm Italian and I have pale skin and brown almost black hair.

My boyfriends family is mostly olive skinned, the other half pale. It's weird and I have no idea why.

I think you want the look that was portrayed on Jersey Shore. Most Italians I know (& I live in Jersey), like stated above are either olive or have a pale complexion & have black hair.

If you want to look like a real Italian (not Jersey Shore): most Italians (or those who live close to the Mediterranean) have a greenish undertone to their skin. Not too green but green.

The green undertone might explain the "pale" look. You know when you're sick and your skin gets paler and your face looks a bit greener?

Lol this is funny. I'm 3/4 italian(: but most "real" italians look nothing like the jersey shore people. if you wanna look like jersey shore people. tan, wear bronzer, fake lashes and have long duck tip nails. lol.

Because no one from the jersey shore, except Sammie, is Italian so...

Teehee! This post is cute :)
It depends really: northern Italians tend to be more on the pale side as its bordered by paler countries, and southern Italians are a little more sun kissed.
Olive skin, dark hair, beautiful healthy bodies :)

Personally I never wanted to be another race I'm proud to be Puerto Rican. I don't think its weird, if you want to look more exotic go for it.

Yeah seems like borderline self hate.

It's not self hate at all. Anyone can find a culture attractive, an maybe they just want to emulate what they find beautiful. It's no different than finding a celebrity who you adore and want to try hair or makeup like :)

I've met Italians an trust me, they're not like TV shows them! they're normal people who also have frizzy hair when its raining, their noses get shiny with heat and they dress really casual! they're just like you and me but the media just exaggerate they're image.

I'm Italian, and I'm very pale and have dark brown hair and blue eyes. All Italians look different, depending on the region of Italy they are from :)

Race is different than hair and makeup.

I've been to Italy multiple times. I've noticed that a lot of women wear very natural makeup, contour, and play up the lips. apply foundation with a light hand, and if possible, contour to play up the deep eyes and classic nose. Italians are beautiful.
