I actually really love the first one! Wear it if you like it! I always end up buying things my boyfriend thinks are weird or he doesn't particularly like.. Then when I wear them to an event and everything is pulled together, he gets the full effect of my vision and usually ends up loving it! I'm sure that's how it would be in your case!

I wouldn't personally wear it, but it looks amazing on you and its super unique, creative, and cute! It fits amazingly and I love the color scheme! It doesn't look like a quilt to me!!-it looks more like an illusion of wearing a really interesting cut dress (with an equally beautiful cut in reality) because of the nude on top, love it. It looks like you know more about fashion than anyone who shows up in some pouffy ball gown or glittery hot mess, much more sophisticated...

I'm glad you didn't end up buying a candy colored ball gown with a a millon rhinestones scattered all over it-those always look terrible and generic in my opinion. Those are for girls that really don't know how to dress, you're looks much more flattering and stylish. You will definitely look back at your pictures and be glad you wore the first dress because its pretty and unique and doesn't make you look like *every single girl* at your prom... way to go!
